Flaco’s Restaurant offers a lively atmosphere and a diverse menu featuring traditional favorites like tamales and enchiladas, which many patrons find delightful. While the food garners praise for its flavor and presentation, some customers express dissatisfaction with a surprising 4% credit card fee, feeling that it detracts from the overall experience. Although service is often noted as attentive and welcoming, the unexpected surcharge leaves a lingering bad taste for some, leading to concerns over fairness and transparency. Ultimately, while many enjoy the food and friendly vibe, the fee policy could be a potential deal-breaker for others.

To be honest, those were the driest chimichangas I’ve ever had, and they came on a tiny plate with everything falling off, which made them difficult to cut and eat. The taste was good, though. The service was a bit slow, but not too bad, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

It would benefit both customers and the restaurant to include a small increase in entree prices rather than adding a fee that surpasses the actual cost. Due to this extra charge, I lowered my tip from 20% to 16%. Consequently, I feel less loyal and may reconsider returning in the future.

The food at Flaco's isn't particularly special. It's a fun spot, but the flavors don’t leave a lasting impression. They serve large portions, but that’s about it. What really bothers me is the credit card fee they charge. That’s a deal breaker. Paying fees for credit card transactions is just a normal business cost—passing that onto customers is unethical in my opinion. I’ll never go back just because of that. You give me the check with a price, but when you run my card, the total goes up. It doesn’t matter if the fee is posted on the menu, door, or restroom—people use cards. What’s next, charging to lease utensils? Or a share of the electric bill? No thanks!

The food isn't all that special. It's a fun place. But the flavor is nothing that leaves your mouth watering. It's just volume of food. Amd they will charge you a credit card fee. That's a deal breaker for me. Paying fees for credit usage is a simplebusiness expense. When restaurants pass that on to guests, it's totally unethical. I won't ever return there simply for thatreason alone. You drop my check and I see a price. My card gets run and another price on the bill comes back. I don't care ifyou post this charge on your menu, your entrance door, in the restroom, people use plastic. What's next, guests have to leasethe eating utensils? Pay some of the electric bill? Screw you!

The food was ok but I like IquanaMia better. When we received the bill it stated that there was a 4% charge for using a credit or debit card. Why can?t they tell you that ahead of time? The waiter told us that they never tell anybody there a charge so Isaid maybe you should. His response was NO.
