The salad with ham made for a delightful starter, and we then shared a beef stew, which was fantastic. The scalloped potatoes were excellent and paired perfectly with the beef. The vegetable side was an additional highlight. For dessert, the pistachio cream-topped angel food cake, accompanied by pressed strawberries and whipped cream, was absolutely stunning. What Roderick Greenholt doesn't like about Cafe Normandie:
The food and service by Andy was wonderful. Being greeted with champagne was delightful. Every course was more interesting than the last except for one. We really would have like escargot instead of garlic shrimp. The decor had no reflection of New Years Eve. Old Christmas decorations and empty blackboards to stare at. The restaurant decor did not reflect the excitement of the holiday. Restaurant needs a spruce up. T... View all feedback.

Opening the door, we were greeted by Sal who makes you feel like family and he possesses a great sense of humor. The wonderful aromas spilling out of the kitchen were fantastic. One of the owners stopped by our table to welcome us as she and her family had recently returned from France. Our table had the the special artichoke appetizer, followed by the duck, lamb and beef entrees. All were amazing! Add in a nice wine list to match the menu. We chose the Nuit St. George. Post dinner, the owners mingled with the patrons to gaIn your opinion of the food. Well done! We will be back in 6 months.
Wonderful French family owned restaurant. The cooking was spot on! Loved everything we tried: Boeuf Bourguignon and Canard a l’Orange. The chef’s special appetizer was very tasty too. We’ll be back!!!
Charming little restaurant, with authentic French cuisine. The chef making his rounds to the tables between orders, was such a delightful touch to the French atmosphere. Very sweet, generous, and knowledgeable couple who own this little slice of Nice in the heart of Naples. Support your local business owners!!!
Hidden Gem. First to start at the end. For dessert you have to try the French chest nut ice cream thing. It's special French chestnut sauce is like Carmel but way better. I had the Duck a l'orange. Very good, all the other entrees looked amazing. The scalops was a little light with only 3 scalops but everyone liked it. The frog legs looked good and hearty. The escargo was perfect. The snails were meaty and the garlic and butter they were in was a great way to start the meal. Our group of seven was finding everywhere busy, but this place was quiet. The restaurant itself is small but intimate. We feel we really lucked out finding this place and we all hope to go back again soon.
