Janell was an excellen waitress. She was very personable and knowledgeable about the food and wine. I was there with my husband celebrating my birthday and she couldn 't have done enough for us. I would highly recommend this restaurant to our friends and hopefully she or Tim) will be working. I am 100% Italian and found the chicken parmesan was as good as 'Nonna made '. Can 't wait to get back to Florida. This is a d... View all feedback.
What Pansy Luettgen doesn't like about Cafe Luna-Naples Walk:
The manager and a host were present when I entered and they did not greet me. I actually think they were staring at me. After a few uncomfortable moments, I explained that I had made a reservation for 10 through opentable. They had no idea what I was talking about. After checking the reservations they found my party and we found space. I waited at the door and when I sat down on the sofas, there were two large heaps... View all feedback.
Overpriced. the waitress ignored us. mediocre food. accused us of something we never got. left seafood from the meal that should be included. never apologise.
The first time in luna and very disappointed. we were served instead of a nice Italian roll cruel rolling. eating was okay, but no wow factor. very small part of ravioli.
We first wanted to lure the wine/2, but the foods are very limited and only one of us drinks so we decided to order the menu. the service was not terribly attentive and it was not busy at all; it is sufficient to stretch. we were through our meals before he even came back to see if it was satisfactory. we had to throw him down to get water and drink after filling. in the grunde, he would have eaten less. this is allegedly an Italian restaurant; we finally asked about brot and got....2 soft dinner rolls that looked like they were from publix’s buying a get a free. the table next to us had the same reaction, except he literally sprinkled his back on the plate. that's inevitable. I asked for light/minimal dressing on my salad. very special. it came drenched and goopy. the chicken parm was sufficient and I thought the picatta was pretty good. the entry prices are average..$20 to $30. it is sad to eat “deal” it is not worth when the service and eating is in average to under average. so many things can be easily fixed....but with all Italian restaurants in neapel, I doubt that this place too.
Food was very good. We had the special-2 meals with a bottle of wine $34.99. Actually, without the deal, meals average about $17 so you're really just getting a free bottle of wine. The people who work there are gems. They're very professional and gracious.
Nothing special. In order to have their Happy Hour cocktails you have to sit at a booth or high top table. Problem with that my husband has a knee replacement and it is very hard for him to get his legs to the chair. Our friend’s husband is way overweight and cannot fit into a booth.
