Price fixed menu is misrepresented. Two of the four entrees were not avaialble when we arrived at 5:30pm. They obviously were the two most expensive and the most desired. View all feedback.
For our meals, I ordered the phyllo-wrapped shrimp and skirt steak, while my wife chose the lobster bisque and macadamia nut-crusted grouper. When our appetizers arrived, I could tell right away they would be delicious, and my first bite confirmed it—the fresh shrimp paired with a creamy, spicy sauce was amazing. My wife's lobster bisque was equally impressive; it seemed to contain almost half a lobster and was bursting with flavor. Then came our entrées. The aroma alone was intoxicating. With the first bite, I was truly blown away. I've dined at many renowned places, but this meal surpassed them all. The steak was incredibly tender, and the grouper was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I can't understand how anyone could not thoroughly enjoy dining at Alexander's; I know I'll be returning as often as possible.
The fixed-price menu was misleading. When we arrived at 5:30 PM, two of the four entrees were unavailable. Unsurprisingly, these were the two most expensive and sought-after options.
