Delicious food full of flavor. I've eaten at many Indian restaurants in the US and England and this is definitely in the top. Enjoyed the lanterns as well. Ordered spice level 4 (Indian spicy). I love spicy food and felt it was spot on. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about 21 Spices By Chef Asif:
It's alright food. Not 100% authentic. I've never tasted a sweet chicken-65. The chicken-65 served here was like orange Chicken. It's an upscale Indian restaurant mostly focusing on presentation than flavors. View all feedback.
It's alright, but not completely authentic. I've never encountered a sweet Chicken 65 before; the one served here resembles Orange Chicken. This is an upscale Indian restaurant that emphasizes presentation more than flavor.
We started with cocktails: the 21 Spices Iced Tea and the Indian Old Fashioned, both of which were excellent. As an appetizer, we enjoyed the complimentary Papadum served with three chutneys: mint yogurt, mango-pineapple, and tamarind. We also tried the Shahi Baby Lamb Chops—three juicy medium-rare Tandoori lamb chops—and the Palakwala Chaat, which featured perfectly fried spinach with a sauce made from yogurt, tamarind, and dates. Both dishes provided an explosion of flavors that delighted the palate. For sides, we had the Garlic Naan (which I would have preferred thinner, but it was still delicious and generously portioned) and the Daal Makhani, which is one of the best lentil dishes I've ever tasted. The saffron basmati rice was equally delicious and served with every dish. For our main courses, we ordered the Lucknowi Grouper—a locally sourced fish cooked to perfection, moist, and infused with coconut milk, cashew paste, and spices—and the Tandoori Kashmiri Chicken, a signature dish by Chef Asif. This boneless tandoori chicken thigh was enhanced by a ginger rub that added a wonderful flavor. To finish our meal, we indulged in the Gold Leaf Shahi Tukda, which featured pistachio ice cream topped with gold leaf, resting on a bed of Indian cookies and drizzled with cardamom cream, chocolate syrup, and raspberry coulis. It was a delicious and delightful experience overall. Highly recommended!
The food here is absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. I've dined at numerous Indian restaurants in both the USA and England, and this one definitely ranks among the best. I also appreciate the ambiance created by the lanterns. I ordered my dish at spice level 4 (Indian spicy) since I love spicy food, and it hit the mark perfectly.
Wow! This is the easiest way to describe this culinary experience. Not only is this restaurant nice, the food is devine and the staff is super professional yet friendly. Our server Eric was excellent, the support staff were very competent and offered an exemplary service.
Food is good is you?re trying to experience something new I would recommend this place the environment is something to highlight, the rice is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Problem I have is when I order English spice it ends up being like a level 2 spice but still a place to checkout.
