Not everyone comes to Italy to eat hamburgers. But, after 10 days of pasta, well the thought of a burger was appealing. This place didn't look like much, but the looks were deceiving. The burgers was big, juicy and tasty. The house red wine was equally good. The service was reasonable despite the language barrier. All in all, a nice change and a good meal at a fair price. What H5575QOlaurab doesn't like about La Locanda Di Robin Hood:
The seafood was probably frozen and so hard that we had to leave half of it. Bruschetta did not taste like anything and the rest was plain too. Maybe a different experience if you go for pub food (it was not an option on that night). View all feedback.

After reading many of the reviews on Trip Advisor we had no expectations of this place and was expecting the worst but we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived at 7.30pm and we were the only ones there. Joanna the waitress was very friendly and spoke English. Being named after an English legend we were expecting a British menu as we were missing some of our British Grub. The dishes were all named after character or some type of reference to all the Robin Hood movies made from Errol Flynn to Russell Crowe. We settled for a Moussaka with Sangria and the Friar Tuck burger with potato chips with a Sprite. Price was reasonable and the food was ok. The only gripe I have is that it was very hot inside, as there is no view and it is on the side street We didn't really want to sit outside as the street wasn't exactly the cleanest. We enjoyed the meal and drinks and the staff were friendly. It's not as bad as some of the negative reviews make out. Visit and make up your own mind.
Food is good, prices are decents. Place is OK when you are looking for something different than pasta, pizza or grilled fish.
I came with a large group last year and we really enjoyed it. I dropped in for a burger and a few beers tonight. I was the only person in the restaurant for most of my experience but it took almost 30 minutes for my burger to come out. The cook and waitress passed me several times to help a table that had just come in but I was never offered a refill and received my check 20 minutes after my empty plate was hauled off. My card sat on the table for another 10 before the waitress came back by. It was very apparent that customer service was not a priority. Like I said, it's sad because I really enjoyed it last year.
Great food for a good price... but if you are going for a theme (robin hoods inn) you should go all the way. The loud dance music on the tv and the bright white bulbs are a big turnoff... replace them with candle like bulbs and the plastic ornaments will look less fake... But overall a good meal and friendly staff
