We both had Spaghetti Nerano, which one of the top 3 pastas we've in Italy (and we've had a lot in the past month! . It's a pasta with a pesto made from zucchini, basil, provolone, garlic and olive oil. OMG! The pasta was perfectly cooked, the dish hot, and the sauce delectable. The house white wine by the glass wasn't very good although my husband liked his red half bottle. The maitre d' (manager/owner? was eager fo... View all feedback.

returned after a year as a caracciolo, where unfortunately it is no longer a pedestrian area and the atmosphere was not the pleasant of a time. the place was crowded but the service is fast enough and the waiters are kind. the pizza is good but not the maximum, while the fried cafone is good, it is for two and the price of this is reasonable the pizzas a little more over the average but we are, in a similar place but... Good pizzeria, quick service, pizzas are good (although they are not my favorites in napoli), the fried mixture not bad, the grilled fish absolutely forgetable. honest account despite the rather touristic area. valid for pizza

Came across this restaurant on our first night in Naples. We weren’t sure what to expect as the place was empty when we walked in at around 7pm but it had started to fill up by the time we left. The decor is great and we were given a seat on the upstairs balcony which was nice. The service was fast and the pizza was really excellent authentic Naples pizza.
Two of us went here after a long walk along the prom enjoying watching the families and couples enjoying their Sunday, mainly because it was getting late and we spotted it had tables free. The outside tables were almost all occupied and there was a good ambience with candles, conversational buzz etc. We chose to sit inside to be away from traffic noise and also inside had a/c. Bit of an error on our part. Inside was comparatively empty. The space is very modern style with shaped tables, large modern framed pictures on the walls, a curved stair to a mezzanine. Because it was nearly empty the chrome and glass feel of the place had zero atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and helpful and all in restaurant uniforms. There is a half open kitchen. I had a pizza with type 1 flour from a large selection and it was simply delicious. Typical Neapolitan thin base with crust of light consistency. Buffalo mozzarella, melanzane and speck with beautiful fresh tomatoes were excellent toppings. Personally I love the absence of tomato paste spread on pizza bases here. My wife had a tuna salad which had some type of crispy bun affair in it, but she declared the dish very fresh and tasty. So to the rating. No problem with the food nor the staff but the sterile atmosphere at our visit inside, the slightly high prices and the legal but annoying 15% service charge with euro 1.50 per person cover charge means I can award no more than a three.
