The staff at the restaurant were welcoming and incredibly kind. I arrived right at 2pm, which is when the kitchen closes, and they still offered to make me a Tofu Scramble. I was so happy they did because the meal was exactly what I needed, even though I didn't realize it at the time. The portion size was good and very satisfying. The dish was fresh, and every bite was bursting with flavor. View all feedback.
What Marlee Adams doesn't like about Ajuna Eatery:
The cafe is currently closed because they do not have enough staff. There is a sign on the door advertising open positions for chefs and front-of-house staff. This review was last updated on September 20, 2022. View all feedback.
This is the best cafe in Napier! The pancakes were delicious and fluffy, and they tasted excellent. The omelette was also impressive with a variety of flavorful ingredients. I highly recommend this place.
Our experience at this restaurant was incredible. We visited around 7am for a snack and some drinks. Despite the early hour, the atmosphere was fantastic and all the staff were kind and cheerful, making it a great way to start the day. I requested my mocha extra chocolatey and they happily accommodated my request. I would give this experience a 10/10 and would highly recommend this cafe to people of all ages and groups.
Whenever we're in Napier, this is always our first choice restaurant. This time, we decided to go for a light meal and were not disappointed. I ordered a cheese scone which was light, fluffy, and came with two butters - a nice change from other places where I usually have to ask for extra butter. My Americano also came with a separate jug of hot water, which was a brilliant touch. My husband opted for quiche from the cabinet and it did not disappoint him. The picture says it all. Highly recommend this place.
First time trying black pudding and it certainly didn't disappoint. Possibly one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time
I googled 'best porridge in Napier 's was not dissapointed. Theirs no bigger compliment to then to leave a completely empty bowl and tell the lads to not change the recipe. 10/10 on porridge it 's simple, it 's accurate theirs no fancy toppings with dark chocolate and 20 kinds of seeds. Also amazing coffee, I was a bit confused by the sparkling water but then I tried it as a chaser to the coffee and it seemed to clear the creaminess that coffee normally leaves in the mouth so it wasn 't overpowering. Easy to find, nice welcoming atmosphere very rarely am I genuinely trying to hold myself back from destroying the entire plate in five minutes.
