Zen's Noodles - Naperville

The food was lacking in flavor, and the woman at the register who took my order was very rude. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Food rating: 1/5.

The food here is incredibly delicious! It's authentically healthy and very appetizing. The cashier was fantastic too. I definitely plan to come back! Food rating: 5/5.

I ordered noodles, and they tasted burnt and flavorless. The spring rolls were incredibly bland as well! I'm really disappointed.

This place is underrated. Simply the best Chinese food outside Chinatown! Considering the taste, price, and portions! There are other Chinese restaurants closer or fancier, and we tried all, but most are really oily and the taste is just not there. My family really loves their version of orange chicken here. The other restaurants make it with too much flour and the taste is so so. Here it is just the right sweetness and tartness. A bit of crunch too when just cooked.Judy the lady taking orders, is such a sweet, kind and helpful person! She always has a smile on her face!She sees me with my kids and when my order is ready, she brings it to our table. Or when my kids are being clumsy and make a mess at the table, she comes over and helps me clean it up. I see her do the same for others.This place is our number 1, when it comes to Chinese food.

So disappointed hate having to leave this review however I feel compelled to share. Stopped by after a trip to Costco decided on the combo meal (shrimp w/lobster sauce; fried rice roll) did a take out. After getting home opened the take out container the 4 shrimp were swimming in a black bean sauce (soy) the fried rice was simply rice mixed with soy Everything looked unappealing that I literally took two bites of rice threw everything away. Inedible to say the least. So disappointed because I've shopped at Hmart several times ordering from here I was sure I'd have authentic Chinese food (I'm part Asian) needless to say NOT. I ended up ordering from another local Asian restaurant chalked up the experience of never ordering from Zen again.
