The restaurant is a cozy place with lots of character. The food is incredible and always fresh and very tasty. Service is wonderful. I highly recommend this to anyone for lunch or dinner. View all feedback.
What Gregg Parkinson doesn't like about Yum Yum Thai:
Good food but not sure how this place stays in business. Have tried to order over the phone numerous times but they do not answer the phone. Only can order take out via their web site, which is clunky. The two times I have ordered take out they have turned dine in customers away although the restaurant is nearly empty. View all feedback.
Thai food was good. I would highly recommend ANY type of soup on the menu. The broth was sweet and spicy. Type of flavors that cannot be made at home.
First time trying Thai food and it was delicious. You get a good amount of food and the service was great. The decor of the restaurant was very nice.
Cute place, 1st try. The crab Rangoon was excellent. Pad See Ewe was good. Chicken satay was decent. Take out, would like to try dine in. Easy in n out location.
We've been coming here since just after Yum Yum Thai opened. The service used to be ok but the food was a 6 out of 5 (amazing! ... it used to be the most delicious Thai food in Naperville. Over the past several years, the service remains the same but the prices have gone up and the food quality has gone down. Sadly, Yum Yum Thai is no longer the best Thai Restaurant around.I recognize the price of everything has gone up so the higher prices don't bother us. We want to support our local businesses. But, that extra cost should not come to customers, new or long time, at the expense of the food quality.Paying more should allow the owners to maintain the food quality and taste. The Pad Thai for example, used to be the best in Illinois. Now, it has no flavor. Same with the Panang and other curries...panang should be thick like the menu says! Potstickers are small.Ordering by phone is a constant challenge. We're either hung up on or don't even get through most of the time. Online ordering is clunky and annoying with lots of spelling errors. As a loyal customer, I hope Yum Yum Thai can turn things around.
I ordered their Shrimp Pad See Ew, Shrimp Shumai, and crab Rangoons through Grubhub. Everything was delicious except the shumai. Not sure if they’re frozen product and they just steam them, but they were literally tough, chewy and little. I would order the pad see ew again but that’s about it. The pad see ew was $20, the rangoons were $10. And the shumai was $10 as well. I ordered through Grubhub , so I spent for almost $50 for meh food.
