Description

A long-standing Naperville dive bar known for icy-cold beer, strong Bloody Marys, cheap drinks and dependable late hours draws a young, loyal crowd. Its narrow, lively room fills up on weekends and offers tasty bar food and free popcorn, but service can be hit-or-miss: bartenders are praised yet busy, and security/ID handling has caused tense encounters. Expect a rowdy, energetic night out with limited seating and occasional brusque staff.

Terry operates an outstanding bar! Although we don’t reside in Naperville and only come by a few times a year, it feels like we’re regulars. The beer is served icy cold, the Bloody Marys are amazing, and the food is delicious! It’s always one of our essential stops whenever we’re in Naperville.

This classic dive bar tends to get quite crowded on weekends. Its long, narrow layout can make navigating through the crowd a bit challenging when it's busy. However, drink prices are fairly reasonable for Naperville, and most of the patrons are in their twenties. Finding a seat can be tricky when the bar is at full capacity.

This is exactly the kind of place you hope to discover when you're exploring a new town for the first time and only have a few days to enjoy it. The music is lively, the regulars are animated, the beer is ice-cold, and the bartenders are warm and welcoming. If you ever find yourself in Naperville and want to feel at home, make sure to stop by Lanterns.

Had an absolutely horrible experience there! Bouncers are rude and disgusting human beings as well as the food was cold and seemed as though it had been left out for an hour before I recieved it

My husband and I love this place! With its wonderfully welcoming atmosphere, cold beer, delicious food, and efficient kind service, it’s the perfect place for dinner and drinks or a night out with friends. Do yourself a favor and check it out if you haven’t yet. It’s a Naperville staple.
