**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Tucked away next to the Naperville train station, this eatery pulses with potential, offering a selection of flavorful Thai dishes. While the food garners praise—especially the Pad See Ew and Tom Yum—some diners have noted inconsistencies, particularly regarding portion sizes relative to price. Service appears to be hit-or-miss: friendly and informative interactions exist alongside reports of rude staff behavior. Currently operating as take-out only, patrons express hope for the return of indoor dining. Despite challenges, many are excited about the restaurant's offerings and eager to return for more authentic and homemade flavors.

Was Anonym at Thai Medallion a mag?
BEST THAI FOOD EVER. Crab rangoons and gyoza best i have had. Their fried rice was a tad greasy in the best way possible. It is flavorful and has a perfect texture. The basil beef is flexible with spice but without extra beef, is lacking. The staff is kind and has known our family since my college graduate sister was a baby. My go-to bday restaurant. What Matthew Smith dislikes about Thai Medallion:
The owner's son who works the front desk and answers the phone for orders is rude and disrespectful, even to his father. Too bad too, the dad works very hard to prepare great tasting meals and running the restaurant, but his son is a detriment to the business. So very very rude.Service: 1/5 View all feedback.

The food is good, but….. way overpriced. Also, not allowing anyone to sit inside and enjoy. Carry out only.

Ordered this last night for the first time! I set high expectations for this restaurant because I had heard that it was previous owners of Le Siam in naperville! Which was my absolute fav back in the day. So cut to me driving over there last week only to realize it was take-out only!!! It was dark inside and I was sad. I was in the mood for a sit down place so I knew I'd come back another time.So I placed my order for my boyfriend and I last night: 1 chicken pad Thai 1 beef pad see ewThe Pad See Ew was way more flavorful than the pad Thai which really surprised me!! I wasn't disappointed in the pad Thai per say- but it could have used more sauce/flavor. And they didn't provide any utensils but thankfully I took the food to my place : no biggie. They only do curbside so I called and they brought it out to me. I tipped the runner $5 because I got there right at 8:30 (at close-whoops but mostly because I had a hard time getting there because it's on a one-way street**I would give the pad thai another try but I definitely see myself trying another Drunken/wide noodle dish first!

The food at this restaurant is amazing! I will definitely continue to order from here. My only complaint is that the portion sizes are a bit small. For instance, I ordered the garlic and pepper curry with shrimp and received only 5 shrimp pieces. I would have been happier with 8 pieces considering the price they charge for takeout. The overall portion size was adequate, but I would appreciate more of the additional items for the price. For example, only receiving 5 pieces of shrimp shumai for $9 is very skimpy and expensive for takeout food.

The Tom Yum soup was fantastic and the Pad Thai was also one of the best I've had. It was not overly sweet and had fresh ingredients.
