Waiter was somewhat new, so didn 't have his cadence down quite yet, but we really liked this place, from the decor, to the idea of the changing menu, to the quality and flavor of the dishes themselves. We were unaware that a reservation was required, so we waited 35 minutes to be seated and unfortunately, it was not worth the wait. The presentation of the food was impressive, particularly the fried chicken with its thick crust, but the taste was disappointing and lacked flavor. I recently visited this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness and freshness of their fries. They were absolutely satisfying and made for a great snack. However, I was a bit taken aback by the price. Two orders of fries ended up costing me over $21, which seemed a bit high for such a simple treat. Despite the cost, the flavor and quality of the fries were outstanding, and I can see why some would be willing to spend a little extra for them. If the price was more reasonable, I would definitely make this place my regular go-to for fries. However, if you don't mind splurging a bit for some excellent fries, it's well worth a visit!
What's not to love about a farm to table restaurant!? Allegory is a great not so hidden gem in Downtown Naperville. Staff was very friendly, the vibe was lively and our meal was fresh. I am looking forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu! Check it out!Food: 5/5
We had a wonderful dining experience from beginning to end. The service was top-notch and the food was amazing. The prices were reasonable and the portions were generous. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit in downtown Naperville. There are plenty of parking options within walking distance and lots of other places to explore nearby as well.
Food was great. Took my gf and the kiddo here for our anniversary and we loved it. Would pop back in if I’m ever in the area.
Our whole party enjoy every dish and those that ordered cocktails did as well. Pleasant experience on a Saturday night. About a half hour wait, but drinks were good at the bar.
