This was our first 3-D dining experience. It was for my daughter’s 26th birthday. Everything was so wonderful, I just kind of wish that we had a different option instead of the wagu and pasta. Even to have been able to have the option for the sablefish instead of the wagu would’ve been fine with me. Overall, still a great experience. View all feedback.
What Hollis Wolf doesn't like about 3d Dining — Cia At Copia, Napa, Ca:
After seeing the previous show, this did not come near the full diving experience. Pretty disappointing. A pretty juvenile story line and no connection to the food served. The staff was great and the food was delicious, but can't say I would recommend it. View all feedback.
PLEASE READ!!! I am not getting paid, nor have alternative motives for this review but to tell the absolute TRUTH. I ignored the previous bad reviews about Marco Polo’s 3D experience and looked at only the good ones taking 2 lovely guests who flew in from out of state to join me for Copia’s CIA 3D dining experience in Napa $150 per person, total $465. . In the beginning, I approached a young woman that was leading the Marco Polo dinner show, expressing my concern about the unpleasant previous reviews, requesting that our desserts not be torched and burned like most people indicated in their reviews. She replied that the dinner crew would be making changes in the near future, and that things would be getting a lot better, however, she did not indicate that they fixed the problem, which was alarming to my guests and I. Bottom line: 1. Our FOOD that should have been warmed, was served COLD. 2. The 3rd course, Malabar Curry Shrimp came out with the top skin still attached and got stuck in my guest’s throat which she coughed up, my other guest found 2 skins in his dish I have photo to prove it , at this point we decided the FOOD UNSAFE and we immediately left. We crossed the parking lot to Gotts Roadside diner and had a much better meal there for $50. I would like to reiterate, if the food is good at a high end restaurant , I’m ok splurging, however, Copia’s CIA 3-D Restaurant, who I thought had high standards, completely missed the mark!! Not only was I horrified and embarrassed for inviting my guests to dine at this 3d Copia DINNER SCAM, but I was disappointed that Napa Valley Business Bureau hasn’t shut it down. S.A.V.E. Y.O.UR. M.O.N.E.Y !!! Also, there were individual projection machines that hang over each guest’s head, our three projectors were blurry, so it was unpleasant to watch. Bottom line: The FOOD IS UNSAFE TO EAT ! This is a children's story with a FRENCH LAUNDRY PRICE TAG AND A SCHOOL CAFETERIA MENU cooked BY STUDENTS!
The food was very inconsistent and cold. Wish it matched the experience
Foods are personal, so I’ll only say the foods don’t fit my husband’s and my taste. The animation is fun, but the whole experience is too long and tedious. We were losing patience midway.
Everything was great! The experience was wonderful!
Very fun and interactive dining experience. The food was really good except for the bao which doesn’t seem fresh. It seem they over microwaved it.The servers were very professional. Definitely, recommended!
