Amazing wine, nice apéro planchas and great service! An great plus is that they often have great wine from the locals, such as Oury Schreiber, which is practically impossible to find in the shops.
In search of a good wine bar in the old town, we trusted our guidebook Petit Futé Nancy 2016 and went to Rue Saint Michel 1 where there should have been a wine bar called ‘Pre-verre’. It turned it had been replaced by a new bar called ‘Vindiou’ in June 2016. Vindiou is clearly a place with a concept. It only serves natural and biodynamic wines and the interior, the furniture and the lighting have been designed by the group ‘Lili et Rami Architectures’. They used a lot of raw materials and constructed tables in steel and cement tiles, wine racks in welded wire lattice and bar stools in bamboo and steel, said to have been inspired by French architect and designer Jean Prouvé (1901-1984). We ordered a glass of wine at the design wooden counter and went to look for a seat in a small upstairs area where more metal was hanging from the ceiling by way of decoration. The room was rather too small for the industrial look to be efficient, it looks rather crammed although the furniture is airy. We also wonder whether Jean Prouvé’s furniture would have been so successful had it been as uncomfortable as Vindiou’s. The wine was very nice though! Although Vindiou is listed as a restaurant in Tripadvisor, it's basically a wine bar serving French ‘saucisson’, ham and pate with bread. The place is closed on Sunday and Monday.

Fantastic place and location, great interior design, super friendly barbeque, but above all the vineyard! Delicious; completely new fav apero place/ wine shop! Form now, when we're around, we'll go by for a pit stop.

A perfect selection of clean wines! Known and recognized winemakers, but also small new ones that regularly complete the map. Apéros accompanied by refined cheese and charcuterie boards carefully chosen by local producers working for the environment and their bestials! A takeaway sale that allows to offer and make discover around you this new generation of enthusiasts. What a chance for Nancy to have access to quality wines with the fair taste of grape varieties influenced by their exhibitions, their lands, the caprices of time without the linearity of the additions of chemical agents to be paid out. Thanks to the team!
A beautiful discovery, an excellent atmosphere, passionate employees and crowds, organic and biodynamic wines. Unique in Nancy.
Totally unexpected. A delicious lunch on a rainy day in a warm, welcoming ambience. Large beer and wine selection also! The charcuterie plate starter with smoked duck breast was absolutely delicious.
