We had a seafood platter, which was of okay quality. The service wasn't particularly attentive. The ambiance is reminiscent of old-fashioned French restaurants.
A Nancy institution with a menu offering a wide selection of dishes and seafood. We were a table of nine, and the general consensus was that the food wasn't anything special. It was fairly standard fare without much refinement.
People come back for the menu and the slightly old-fashioned atmosphere, but today the seafood sauerkraut was a bit underwhelming and the profiteroles were starting to melt; they also needed a glass of white Burgundy.
A very beautiful period brasserie...with a baby-friendly menu, offering a choice of dishes and specializing in shellfish and fish.

The Excelsior, at the same time brewery, pub and restaurant, is a truly unique establishment in Nancy. Consecrated as the most beautiful historic brewery in Nancy, the restaurant offers a divine cuisine in a stunning setting. Really! Glass windows, carpentry and even mosaics make up the belle epoque decoration of this brewery. He eats very well too. The restaurant offers French dishes. The service is intachable, just like the reception. It's a luxury place, which is reflected at all levels. Of course, prices are a little higher than in a traditional restaurant, but the reward is worth the effort. It's a real show. A special place in Nancy.

Cold dish, and badly cooked, very long service, barely friendly staff, I am really very disappointed
Several individual experiences always very well spent but there... in group, very long service and very disappointing service, really.

Arriving on the early morning train from Paris, we breakfasted at the Brasserie Excelsior in Nancy. The delightful server and excellent breakfast made for a good start to our day exploring the town. A decision to dine again at the Excelsior was a wonderful close to our day. Dinner and service was superb! The ambiance and the grand room added to our pleasure in choosing the Brasserie Excelsior.
The worst service in France combined with tasteless food, and you still have to pay a bill for it. Never again! Wouldn’t recommend this to anybody.
Quite hard to find a late place to eat after a show in Nancy? Stop the press : this is the place to go. Arrived at 11.15 PM and the place was still packed. This brasserie offers a very typic 19 century decor which is pleasant. While the restaurant prim focus is fresh seafood, we went for the tartate and a nice creme brulee with bergamot. Alcohol is a bit expensive though but at the end, very charmed by the waiters that were very smiling despite late hours. I highly recommand.
Beautiful architecture, art nouveau decorated. Service was decent. Food was very, very bad. Had to send the risotto back because the rice was uncooked; foie gras came with a chunk of bread instead of toast; andouillette sausage was burnt. One of the worst culinary experiences ever! Go look at the place, but do not dine there!!!!!
We came here years ago but couldn’t quite remember what it was like. Having popped in for a quick drink around 4:15pm when it was quiet it was an experience I won’t repeat. Other people who came in after us for a drink were looking to see if they were going to be served. 4 young waiters meandered around, one even passed our table and ignored us. Finally whilst he was picking up his tips on a nearby table, I caught the head waiter’s eye, who said he’d be a minute. Several tasks undertaken by him later, not all serving customers he then went to serve the group who came in after us and looked round at me when he did. A couple of minutes later we’d had enough and got up. He called after us but we just indicated we were leaving to a firm au revoir from him. How rude. Having since read several reviews about what seems to be the same individual I can see why people were unhappy about his behaviour.

I wanted to celebrate my birthday in this brewery, because in my memory, all the staff came to sing in the heart, but lively cause, it is no longer done, what a shame!!! The dish was succulent, the medium candy, too much ice compared to the size of the cabbage, true chocolate fondu hum! The perfect service, we stayed there until the middle of the afternoon, without coming to dislodge us, as in other places. In a short time in a beautiful setting.
A restaurant discovered by chance because our train was late and we had to eat before we left... And frankly not disappointed a very classy and beautiful place, your good waiter, and the dishes were really too good value for the top .. I recommend the sauerkraut she was tasty. My spouse took it. Jarret it seems to me that the sauce was incredibly good and the meat was easily eaten. Anyway, a big restaurant
We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Easy to find. Faster and more staff available. Points A warm and pleasant setting. Variety, succulent and proportional dishes. A service is well organized. The staff is reactive, listening to customer requests. Points Access to the toilet via a staircase (a bit complicated for an elderly person or a wheelchair customer... Tables, which are used for some, do not allow private discussions. The supplement of €5 for additional support, given the amount of the supplement served seems a little excessive.
A very good restaurant. The interior is very pleasant. Tonight I made an exquisite seafood tray. The service is smiling and very kind. I also exchanged with a charming lady, a very pleasant and pleasant meeting.
An incredible discovery, we came with family to celebrate a birthday and we really weren’t disappointed. between the map of a wide variety, dishes all as good as each other, the sublime frame and the very smiling staff, we were all conquered. (we even had the right to the lights off, a joyous birthday song and a candle on the dessert) really a beautiful brewery.

A few days ago at noon for a business meal. We took prestige menus and we all agree that quality was not. in the period of pendemie all tables are glued, decoration of the leaves of noel to be desired (all bets) and the quality of the dishes were frades for the ceviche, nervous for meat and heavy for dessert. Anyway, go for the frame but not for food.
This place seems to be the vestige of a past splendor, the colors of the interior decoration are a little passed but it does not ruin anything to its charm. the service was excellent and pleasant for a simple, fast and economical breakfast.
Avoid breakfast, we found it pathetic, I had asked for an omelette with ham, cheese, mushrooms I still look for the first two ingredients. an omelet in the shape of crêpes without taste. The pastries come out of a plastic bag, they could warm them up one. Finally, if you have the possibility to go elsewhere do it.
