Set in a quiet side street away from the main restaurant area, Le Panama provides a superb setting for a meal. We had two tapas (meat and seafood) which were prepared to a high standard and excellent value for money. The cheerful staff were very helpful and contributed to making the evening a very enjoyable experience.

First, there are the French sensibilities: Silky guacamole instead of chunky, fajitas pre-rolled to be eaten with knife and fork rather than wrap-it-yourself and pick it up -- dripping -- to eat. More than that, it is the elegant touches of freshly prepared tortilla and purple-potato chips; the side garnishes of raspberries, mango, sour cream, radish slices; the delicious mix of tapas-style appetizers served on a piece of slate. The wine is way better than the Texas wines I've had, too!
Believe it or not we had beef here! If you like beef rare, you are in for a treat.
Our family lives in Metz and we visit every year I had found some good reviews on this restaurant from Trip Advisor and my cousin confirmed.
