Overall, I can recommend this pastry shop, but there are probably even better options in the city as well. When we arrived in the afternoon the macaroons were not as fresh as we have had at other locations in Europe. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly. Good and beautiful products, such as chocolate, bread, pastries!! And the pastries, of course!! Faithful client since always, good address to share to find Nancy's specialties and new creations. August 2023: I've been going to Batt for lunch. I arrive around 11:30, but the kitchen opens at 12am and this morning for a breakfast I arrive at 8:30am and the room opens at 9am... The chocolates of the macaron duchess and the bergamote is one of the best addresses of nancy. Don't miss the factory store and green carpet street demonstrations is an unforgettable moment!
In this store, the quality of the products sold is without default, and these chocolates are excellent, you must say. But for the sale itself, it's a catastrophe. the two young girls who are responsible for the sale are inexpressible, do not address a single smile to the customer, address it with a almost martial tone that would let us think they are disturbed. But how did she beat them? In short, it is urgent to examine this problem, because it would be a pity that this shop would perish because of incompetent suppliers. Start with a selection cut of tube steak. smoke it with hickory. add the perfect note of dijon. wrap in French bake and they have croissant asacion. if they still think ketchup, I'm sorry, but we can't be friends. loraine is the quiche region, so I also tried quiche avec champignons (mushrooms) containing ham. the crust was a bit dry and a little dry with a very damp filling with a subtle taste. Customer for many years at the store in the city centre and the place of manufacture, the reception of the sellers of the latter point of sale was surprising and disappointing.
