Noodlebox - Nanaimo

The lady who took my order was quick to acknowledge me, although she was busy taking a call from another customer. I ordered the medium-sweet chicken with jasmine rice. Cilantro was the shrimp. It came with warm Naan bread. It was ready within 10 minutes and costs $15.70. It was a good meal and I definitely go back.

I have a strong fondness for Noodlebox, as their offerings are typically very consistent. However, one of the key aspects of a chain restaurant is that you expect uniform service, products, pricing, and quality across all locations. During my recent weekend trip, I was particularly looking forward to having the Bombay Mac Cheese Box. I specifically chose this location, only to find out that they were out of Cavatappi noodles and couldn’t make the dish. That was incredibly disappointing! While the staff was friendly and did their job, the cleanliness of the restrooms left much to be desired; the floors were dirty and the garbage bin was overflowing. Attention to detail makes a significant difference, and that’s what elevates a restaurant to a five-star rating.

Great food, but you have to be ready to wait. We're waiting for 40 minutes. This is the second time we tried and both waited very long. Share this review if you do not have the time or if you are hungry.

I visited Nudelbox for the first time today, and as I passed by, I was greeted by the most amazing aroma, so I decided to order lunch. Wow! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our food was prepared promptly and served fresh and hot, tasting absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend supporting them; they definitely deserve your business and will be seeing a lot of me in the future!

I've been visiting Noodlebox since it first opened in Victoria. While the flavors and quality can differ from location to location, or even based on who’s cooking, I was a bit hesitant to order from this location again after my last experience, which was overpowered by oil. After reading the recent reviews, I wasn’t too optimistic. However, it seems that the owner is paying attention to the feedback because this time, the Spicy Peanut with Prawns and extra veggies was one of the best I’ve had! Additionally, the staff member at the front counter was very friendly.
