Bocca - Nanaimo

Sometimes it's rare to find health, delicious and great value. Portions are size huge. The peanut butter Nanaimo Bar and hot chocolate is amazing. Everything else looked yummy too. Lots of vegan options. Quirky seating area inside and out. A must stop while in Nanaimo.

The brownies at Bocca are so large that they cut them in four for you. The peanut butter nanaimo bar was delicious. There is outdoor seating under a glass roof. Definitely go!

Bocca's was recommended to us by locals for the best Nanaimo bars in the area. We bought one and it was delicious but thought we'd walk around and check out the other bakeries/stores before buying half a dozen to take with us. We quickly learned that Bocca's had the largest and best looking Nanaimo bars around at the best price so we returned and made our purchase. They had the traditional bars but also offered peanut butter, pecan, and turtle bars. We also ordered a sandwich that had hearty sourdough bread (seeds included) that was very tasty. Bocca's has outside seating in a small grotto area that made it a charming place to have a coffee and a sweet Nanaimo bar to regroup and relax.

We visited here to try out a traditional Nanaimo bar, and we were not disappointed! The service, coffee and overall experience was very good!
