I moved from Nampa to Boise five years ago, and Local First is the main reason I keep returning. I ordered the veggie sandwich and the mushroom soup, and I had to double-check to ensure it was vegan because it was that delicious. My friend got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and absolutely loved the gluten-free bread. I even brought home some desserts to prolong the enjoyment. If you're in Nampa, especially with dietary restrictions, you definitely need to check out this place!

I ordered the $12 Cobb salad but was disappointed to find the avocado was brown, the tomatoes weren’t fresh, and the chicken looked questionable. Additionally, the salad was surprisingly small—more like a side salad that would usually cost around $5. Overall, it was quite underwhelming. On the bright side, the tomato soup was excellent, and the pizza was pretty good as well.

However, their "pop tarts" and donuts do not justify the $7 price. On my last visit, a mistake at the register resulted in being charged an extra $9, which was frustrating. While Local First offers amazing items on their menu, their customer service definitely needs a lot of improvement.
