Portions were good, fresh ingredients, tasted is really good. I love the sauce assortment. For me personally I like my burgers a little more on the rare side. These are well done. The place was crowded and food was served pretty fast for made to order. My biggest issue is cleanliness. They really need some TLC. Be careful leaving, my wife is blind in one eye and didn't see the curb immediately out the door and fell.... View all feedback.
Ambiance 4/5 Service 5/5 Food 3.5/5 My first time trying Boise Fry Company. It was good. I want to leave a raving review but unfortunately for me, and, in my opinion , it 's just an ok burger. Many people have told me the same thing and I hate leaving anything less than a 5 but I really think they should work on their burger a little more. It looks like a $15 burger but taste like a $5 burger. The fries are good and they have a few different options. It 's definitely a cool place to chill and hang with a friend but when it comes to burgers there are many other places I would have to choose over Boise Fry Company.
Passing through the area, Boise Fry Company was recommended to us. We were excited to try different fries and dipping sauces, plus burgers! Unfortunately, we weren't terribly impressed. I will say the girl working was super nice! We tried a regular burger as well as a bison burger (with classic toppings and the russet, gold, and purple fries. I also tried a variety of sauces blueberry ketchup, fry sauce, chipotle sauce and garlic aioli. The burgers were not very good. The bison burger with the classic toppings missed the mark. The toppings themselves seemed off flavor wise. It must have been the sauce or house made pickles. I've never had classic toppings kind of ruin the burger for me. I tried to scrape them off but ended up just tossing half of the burger. The bison meat itself wasn't very good either. Same for the regular beef burger. The fries were just okay. I did enjoy getting to try the purple fries, but after a few I was satisfied. The fry sauce was odd (didn't taste like any fry sauce I've had before but maybe Utah has a different style? , the garlic aioli was okay, and the chipotle was forgettable. I will say the blueberry ketchup was very good and definitely a highlight. A small fry was also still pretty big. You can definitely share and get a good portion size. Overall, maybe we just hit them on a bad day but I can't say that I would look to return next time I'm here.
If you haven 't tried Boise Fry Company, I would highly recommend trying them ASAP with a friend on a Tuesday! For $24 we got 2 drinks, 2 small fries (very good sized for a small and 2 burgers. Great deal with leftover fries- we were satisfied!! We ordered at the counter- service was quick and friendly. They have different varieties of potatoes and cuts for the fries (homestyle, shoestring, etc. They also have a fun sauce and salt area where you can choose from many flavors of ketchup and aoli, as well as choose what kind of salt (rosemary garlic, jalapeño, Cajun, etc. I 'm not a huge fan of the ambiance (it feels a bit alt college-y to me? but that won 't stop me from coming back.

Wow!! Lots of love in these burgers. Looks like the pattys are hand made and local fries. Many sauces to choose from so u get any flavor you can desire!
