We ordered the Carne asada tortas. The meat had good flavor. The only complaint I would say with the food was that the bread wasn't toasted enough, so they kind of just fell apart when you would pick it up to eat it. The food was a little overpriced for what you get but was within the normal high range for a Mexican restaurant. View all feedback.
What Michael Biggs doesn't like about Aguililla:
They don't know how to cook or clean shrimp every one still had the mud vein and were very over cooked. The rest of the food may have been ok but I could not eat it after the shrimp. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is incredible! It is definitely our top choice for Mexican cuisine. We visit at least once a week.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The chips and chunky salsa were excellent, and the burritos were both delicious and very generously sized. I tried the special Chicken Enchiladas and a Chili Relanos, both of which were incredibly tasty. I especially loved the sauce that came in the squirt bottles - it truly felt like a taste of Mexico.
This place is just awesome! It's our go-to Mexican restaurant in Nampa. The food is fantastic. I get the Chili Verde burrito and my wife goes for the Taco Salad. Great little restaurant. Worth stopping in if you haven't been. I promise, you'll return!
Best kept secret? This place is tiny, but as soon as you enter you can smell that it's going to be good food! Friendly staff, good food. Not cheap, but oh so yummy. My hubby said that it's the shrimp cocktail he's been waiting for. He's been looking for one that is like the one he remembers from his childhood.
I wish there was a small Mexican restaurant like this in my hometown. I tried the campechana cocktail and it was delicious. It was made with quality ingredients and I appreciated that the shrimp were deveined. I will definitely eat here again whenever I visit this town.
