Indian Essence - Nambour

This newly opened restaurant is currently offering a lunchtime curry and rice for $6.95. Excellent value. The surroundings are basic, and there was very little choice of drinks on offer, but the curry was generous and excellent. Cooked fresh, it was served in a take-away container with a separate section for the rice. As I was eating in, I also had a large plate and cutlery. The curry was medium - and it matched the description unlike other restaurants who hold back on the heat. If you don't like it hot then definitely choose the mild rather than medium - but I loved it. Will definitely be back.

I attended a casual lunch meeting there and the food was adequate. For a group of 8, I must admit, he did a great job of juggling all the different roles and getting our food served about the same time. I will return and try something else on the menu.

The food was delicious and authentic, and my order was prepared very quickly.
