There is a fairly extensive menu of pizzas and regional specialities and everything I have eaten here has been good. But I do not go for the food so...much as for the opportunity to dine on the covered terrace, which is usually reasonably busy and which makes for a relaxed, informal. atmosphere. Service is generally welcoming and friendly and some of the staff speak English, if that helps. Our dog was also made to feel at home.

We were surprised to find the restaurant closed... read more We went here with friends who have been coming here for years as one of their parents own a farmhouse mins away. We were surprised to find the restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesday lunchtime and all day Wednesday. We booked a table but...needn't have bothered...it wasn't at all busy. The waitress was extremely rude and was quite clearly very fed up at being there. We were rushed to order and although my friends speak reasonably good French we ended up with the wrong starters...there was no attempt to help us at all when we were struggling with the language and she was very impatient with us. The food was mediocre...pizzas ok...spaghetti carbonara clearly reheated and awful...salad ok....just seemed like a bag of prepared lettuce with a few bits of cheese and walnuts on top. Dessert ordering also was a disaster and due to the waitresses impatience and rudeness we ended up with three desserts instead of was speaking so quickly we didn't realise we had ordered desserts until they arrived. Overall an awful experience and I strongly recommend you avoid at all costs....the salamander restaurant up the road is fantastic in comparison!!!
