"This is a cozy spot for Swahili cuisine and my go-to restaurant for everything related to Swahili dishes. They serve delicious tamarind juice, although I personally prefer the concentrated version over the one mixed with hibiscus. Their mshikaki is delightful, and I also highly recommend the biryani and pilau. The prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly. I recommend it for family outings and it’s a great place for a nice meal.".
The service and atmosphere we excellent. Felt like Lamu in there. But the food has limited vegetarian options and is a bit dry(no gravy)
Swahili dishes, absolutely delicious! Satisfying quantities...love the tamarind drink. Best of all ... affordable!
Good customer service and food. I'd recommend having the mixed juices of the 3 flavours that they have. I loved the feel and ambience of the restaurant with the timber and Swahili vibe. Would recommend.
Quiet eatery for Swahili dishes. It’s my go to restaurant for anything Swahili. They serve good tamarind juice, although my tummy cannot tolerate the concentrated one I prefer The one they mix with hibiscus! Their chicken mshikaki is delicious and so I the biriyani and pilau. The portions too are amazing. Prices are friendly and so is the service. I recommend it for outings with family and also quite fine dining
Lovely authentic swahili dishes and affordable price with good service. The tamarind juice is awesome fish also and their pilau.
