Contribute FeedbackI tried several dishes, including: 1) Aloo Gobi Matte (potatoes, fresh green peas, and cauliflower cooked with a flavorful tomato sauce) 2) Yellow Dal (yellow lentils boiled and tempered with cumin, cream, garlic, tomatoes, and a hint of ginger) 3) Bauernhaus Mixed Vegetables (a hearty vegetable dish) These dishes were priced between 1,000 and 1,200 Kenyan shillings (approximately €8.90 to €10.63). There were also some lacto-ovo vegetarian options that included cheese, butter, and/or yogurt. I particularly enjoyed the Palak Paneer, which featured homemade cottage cheese in a rich spinach sauce with authentic Indian flavors, served with yogurt. You could choose the spice level: mild, medium, or hot. Each meal also came with a salad of red onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and cucumber. On my third night, I decided to try the buffet and was thrilled to discover that out of 11 hot dishes, 9 were vegetarian. The staff confirmed this, and I felt assured that they would be able to tell me which items were vegan if I had asked. Overall, the service at this four-star hotel was impressive; all employees treated guests with warmth and friendliness, making sure we had everything we needed. Everyone in the team seemed genuinely happy, which made my experience at Rendez-Vous Nairobi truly enjoyable.
