Yes, yes yes! I’ve taken two trips to Nags Head; there are seafood options ALL over. But if you want your seafood sushi style this place is AWESOME. Good taste, quick service, family owned. Not cheap really, and the rolls aren’t “big”…but worth every dollar View all feedback.
What Mel Whitney doesn't like about Taiko Japanese:
The food was great but I was not expecting the “take out only” situation. I mean I now it is still covid time but good hygiene goes a long way in keeping people safe and doesn’t require complete shutdown of inside service area. We got our order placed and headed next door and quickly wished we had just dined at the nearby Irish joint. View all feedback.
The sushi at this restaurant is always fresh and tasty!
The food at this restaurant is always tasty and served quickly. I love every dish they offer.
What a box of sushi! All the sushi rolls were fresh and excellent! The tempura dragon roll was really tasty with nice, crispy tempura shrimp. The summer roll was good, but FYI the crab stick is actually spicy! The pork Gyoza--steamed--had delicious flavors and a nice dipping sauce. Appreciate this restaurant's efforts to keep everyone safe by only offering takeout food. Will definitely visit again next time we are in Nags Head!
(As of April ‘22 you cannot dine in, not sure why or for how long, but online ordering is super easy. This was, hands down, the BEST sushi I’ve ever had. I’m vegetarian so my sushi options are limited, and better vs best really does come down to the smaller details. Most fresh avocado, and the perfectly cooked and flavored sushi rice. I wish I had found this place at the beginning of my vacation, not the end!
Eating the fried rice right now..my oh my, shaw am good!Great value and nice women too.P.s. photo is with allready 1/5th eaten.
