What Garry Richwine Jr doesn't like about The Dunes:
Went out for a nice breakfast before the aquarium. Party of four with two children were before us but we were seated first. Waitress came out and then acted like we were inconveniencing her with our order. Very impatient. Food came out quick and my omelette was very mediocre. Raw veggies in a plain cooked egg. Waitress never checked back with table entire time besides handing us bill. Plenty of other options in OBX.... View all feedback.
Probably one of the best places I had breakfast while visiting the Outer Banks.
Delicious and friendly. Best place for a 7am breakfast. The omelet with crab is fantastic.

A must visit when we're in Nags Head (and even when we're not ? . We've been coming here for over a decade the hush puppies are amazing.
Excellent all around experience from beginning to end. The Flounder was delicious and I've never had hush puppies so good in my life! The Hostess and Waiter were the best! I highly recommend this place!
