Pathetic food with spoiling drink and third class service. We ordered 3 Long Island Ice Teas (LiiT) and I asked the waiter which rum you would mix in it. He told me "Bacardi White Rum" but when we got it we could all feel the taste of an "old monk" in it. After complaining about it, the guy doesn't accept it and the tandoori platter we ordered is uncooked and the waiter is so untrained that even an 8 year old will serve the food properly if asked too.
The ambience was really good. The meal was delicious. It was really a quality time with Chicken Manchurian, Hakka Noodle, Shahi Paneer, Dessert, Music and Live TV. The service was good. Nice place to rest but quite expensive.
Great food, incredibly expensive I visited Zinq for lunch. The ambience is good, with spacious seating, fine cutlery and luxurious decor. For drinks, I ordered a ginger mojito and Italian smooch. The ginger mojito was especially nice, minty but still with the heat of the ginger. The Italian hickey was overwhelming and can only be described as the glorified Nimbu Paani. It was way too minty and tasted like nothing but mint and lemon. To start with, I ordered Cottage Cheese Sticks. These were divine; The cottage cheese just melts in your mouth. The sauce that came with it was cold and a little bland, but the salad had a nice dressing. Overall a very tasty dish. For main course I ordered a mushroom risotto and a spaghetti neapolitaner. The risotto was cooked to perfection; There really is nothing I can fault with. The spaghetti was equally great, some of the best I've had in a restaurant. For dessert, I ordered the special of the day, a banoffee pie. This dessert blew my mind. It was absolutely divine, just amazing. You have to try to find out how good it is. The banana and caramel layers go together perfectly, and the biscuit base offers the perfect balance to compliment the otherwise creamy layers. An absolute must. Service was quick once the order was placed. In fact, the banoffee pie was served almost immediately (maybe because it was the special thing of the day). However, there were only two waiters on the floor at this point and I found it a little difficult to get their attention to place my order. The food here is definitely expensive and the amount is not much. However, the taste is amazing. When you are here you can expect a price of around £ 800 per person. If you have the money and want to be pampered with excellent food this is the place.
