Trout Lodge - Naches
Trout Lodge
Description
Perched on a riverfront garden overlooking kayakers, this family-run restaurant blends nostalgic charm with reliably excellent American comfort food — from pan-fried trout and monthly smoked salmon to scratch soups, Reubens and biscuits & gravy. Friendly, attentive owners and staff, a cozy woodland dining room, and an on-site gift shop make it ideal for breakfasts, lunches or scenic stops on a seasonal drive. Consistently recommended; arrive before the evening rush for the best experience.

The broccoli cheddar soup and salmon sandwich were amazing. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and offers lovely views of the river. I highly recommend it!
I visited this restaurant for dinner on a Friday night and managed to arrive before the rush. Both the food and service were excellent. The owner stopped by our table to see how we were doing, and she was incredibly friendly. We shared the patty melt and the Reuben sandwich, and we both felt that the Reuben was the standout dish. The homemade thousand island dressing was absolutely delicious! The soup of the week was zuppa toscana, and it was the best I’ve ever tasted. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely return.
We stopped by for Breakfast in the middle of the pandemic and the owners were the most humble and loving people we came across on our entire trip. We are so happy that they were able to make it through the pandemic because these people deserve it the most! Will 100% make another stop on another road trip in the future. 10/10 would recommend.
Absolutely wonderful little restaurant. Owner is the chef and cooks with love. A must try people.
