Combination parmigiana was really good. Mike the accordion player did a great rendition of Simple Man as well as sang happy birthday for someone in our group. Friendly atmosphere and a lot of fun. View all feedback.
This restaurant was amazing! Tim our server provided above beyond service. Food was superior quality and tasted great. Chef comes around and greets you at your table. Felt like you were dining at a friends house with the friendly welcoming atmosphere!
Absolutely the best restaurant I've been to in my 40 years of life! Myself, my husband and my in-lawd has a wonderful experience! It was absolute perfection!
Our server Ryne is top notch. We are frequent flyers to this restaurant. The food is authentic Italian and the atmosphere is intimate. It's one of our favorite places to visit.
We were on vacation so glad I googled restaurant near where we stayed. Tina was wonderful food was delicious!!! Can’t wait to visit again.
Villa Romana reminds me of restaurants 25 years ago, that focused on food quality and service instead of being out the door in 52 minutes. In a city that has been taken over by huge brash neon signs and big plastic crabs to bring attention to their business, Villa Romana would be easy to drive by as it is just an unassuming place on the side of the road without any fanfare. When you walk in, it is beautifully decorated with Italian sculptures and a waterfall, all in white, separating the dining room into 4 sections. The server, Ryne, described the specials and the menu in such a way to make your mouth water. He said he has been there for around 4 years. Our glasses never went dry and we never needed anything without him being there, but yet he never hovered. That’s a very difficult balance to get right, I think Ryne could do fine dining. We eat out more than we probably should and I told Ryne he may be the best server we’ve ever experienced. I had the shrimp cocktail appetizer; the shrimp were a good size and well prepared with a good spicy horseradish cocktail sauce. The following bread, soup and salad were all excellent. For dinner, I had their special triple parmigiana of veal, chicken shrimp with a side of spaghetti. All three were very fresh and well made. A lot of Italian comes down to their particular red sauce. I think their red sauce struck a nice balance between having enough flavor to be interesting, without being too pungent to overpower the food nor was it bland. Your next course was never shoved in front of you 4 minutes after the previous and the entire dinner followed a nice relaxed pace. How unusual today!
