Nice lunch. My wife and I had the Katsudon and loved every bite. The plaza where it is located is very attractive and easy to reach. The take-out service was super fast and easy. The pig was tasteful and not dry. We'll be back when we go through Myrtle Beach, that's safe. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sobaya Bistro:
I really wanted to enjoy this place. The food was a solid 6/10 with the biggest complaint being my pork wasn’t spicy as advertised, and I know during corona virus it’s difficult to accommodate at normal operation but the employees were so rude. I was with a group and we honored their request to wear masks, but our server thought we were mad at her and just had an attitude the entire time we were there. The seating en... View all feedback.

This is a charming little restaurant, a local Manitoba business that truly feels like a hidden gem. Everything on the menu is fantastic—high quality and incredibly delicious. The dishes all seem very authentic. The service is excellent; the staff takes great care of you, and your food is delivered promptly. They consistently check to refill your water and ensure you have everything you need. It’s a good idea to call ahead since the seating is limited—due to COVID, only four tables can be used indoors, and there are two or three outdoor tables available (weather permitting). Parking is also limited, but it’s usually not hard to find a spot if you’re willing to walk a bit further.
Absolutely incredible! This is the best Japanese family restaurant in the United States. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for casual family-friendly Japanese dishes. They also offer delicious Korean dishes.
The rams were really great. The noodles tasted fresh and the pig was really delicious. We also had the Takoyaki, but it wasn't the best. I remember that Takoyaki in Japan is bigger and round and crispy on the outside. The flavors were still ok. My friend had the Bibimbap and said it was really good.
Sobaya is a true hidden gem in Myrtle Beach. This locally owned, family-run establishment offers some of the best ramen you'll find. If you're in the area, be sure to check it out. Just keep in mind that it's a very small venue, so it tends to fill up quickly.
