fantastic! old school oyster house, which serves very fresh oysters and seafood. we ordered two dozens of raw oysters and are served with salt and cocktail sauce, lemons and meerrettich. also ordered the seafood boil with crab legs. one of the best low country wins I ever had. our server candius was great! when looking for authentic local atmosphere and great oysters this is the place to go. On Thursday a happy hour. You have a terrace if you prefer outdoor seating. Great prices on delicious shrimps and oysters. Appropriate beer prices too. The service was friendly, busy, but slow. It was very busy in 20-30 minutes, attributed to the slow service.
Great food and fabulous service. We were in town on a business trip and found this gem. The shrimp and lobster dip appetizer was amazing. Catch of the day was grouper and delicious. The service was on par with the food, friendly and casual we felt welcome. The restaurant had a nice casual local feel. Next time we are in town on business we will make plans to return.
Best seafood I've had here in Myrtle beach! The Original Shuckers. Local hangout. Food was great. Friendly staff (including the guys not working today).
Came here for dinner, we were told to sit wherever we wanted and a server came over right away. She was really nice and attentive. Our food came out rather quick which I was pleased with. We started with fried oysters they were really salty but still pretty delicious. I had the fried fish sandwich with the catch of the day. The fish was grouper, I thought it could’ve been seasoned more but it was a really delicious and sturdy sandwich. Overall I’d definitely come back!
(Corrected Grammar from 11 months ago) Everybody thought the food and service was the best we'd had in Myrtle Beach and on our trip down south except me. They were all 5 starts or 4.75. I wasn't as impressed. I took the local guide's suggestion of a po boy for dinner but wasn't impressed with it or the red potatoes. Service was very good. Sweet tea not very. The wife thought the clam chowder was the best she'd ever eaten. I was, as always the downer of the group. No mask wearing anywhere except with us. We were a group of 4 for dinner. I did love the tacos and chips with the spinach dip I thought the dip was too watery. The chips seemed sprayed with a spicy flavoring much like old bay with a kick.
