Contribute Feedback What Da Seed Of Chucky likes about Pirates Voyage Dinner Show:
Sunday, August 27th, was my first time seeing the show. I like the fact that it was very organized. Everyone did amazing. I would definitely go see the show again. The food was okay. I am really picky, so I just ate the chicken. View all feedback.
It was an interesting experience but a bit expensive and everything seemed rushed Since the moment we sat down everything was, go go go..and then it was over before you realized it.Not enough time to enjoy the food and the show properly.First of all, it 's a musical for those who doesn 't know it.. It was nice and entertaining specially for kids. Some acrobatics, a few cute animals that performed, and a few activities/ games for a few selected kids. The ambience is nice overall and the decor is very impressive. But once again, it 's a very expensive experience. Around 300US$ for 4 . It doesn 't stop with the tickets though, there 's, plus and plus and plus.As soon as you walk in, you have no saying, they take your picture with a pirate background which they come and present to you, while having dinner.. It felt very pushy and imposed to buy it. You 're not asked if you want it...you 're asked : which one do you want they show you 3 printed pictures) which cost another 45US$...You don 't have to but for the kids to feel part of the experience, there 's an option of a bundle including face painting, sword, flag, pirate hat, eye patch and earring for 25US$ give or take, I don 't remember the exact price). At least you have all you can drink soda with the meal which is not bad, it 's actually tasty. The soup and chicken were perfectly seasoned, the biscuit and apple turnover were fresh and hot, the only thing mediocre was the corn, which was overcooked and dry .They offer take out bags at the end of the meal in case you can 't eat everything and would like to bring it with you.
Staff were absolutely wonderful. My younger 2 got their face painted and they were patient with them. Show and dinner were great. Brittany was our waitress and she was fantastic.
First, I have to give support to all of the actors and waitstaff of this production. It was clear their dedication to their craft. The show is very fast-paced with a lot happening all around. This is good and bad. There was so much to see....and also so much to see it was hard to take it all in.Our waiter was very attentive. The food was the least desired part of the production. The soup was not my favorite at all. It was a creamed typed vegetable. The biscuits were ok. The chicken was rubbery. You also got a piece of ham. The best thing was the apple crossiant for dessert and my Coke to drink.Next, was not a concern the organization could really address...but rather just inconsiderate people. The seating was a long leather bench. There were no individual chairs to move about. The family who sat next to me made the experience rather unjoyful. The one parent was determined to get continuous photos of the rest of the family. This meant her leaning back into my personal space and plate to take her pictures. Inconsiderate people aided into my regret of attending. This was after I had paid extra for premium seating.Again, I do not want to take away from the hard work of the wait staff and the actors/actresses. They are very well trained in the acrobatics that were preformed, the swimming, and singing.
Amazing show mixed with musicals, acrobatics, pole and rope dance, along with fabric. Diving and water acts with birds and sea lions. Singing and involving the crowd. Dinner was very good and the servers were a charm. IF there was a negative, it would be very loud background music. There was even a pre-show show, with drinks and snacks.
Hands down worth the price of admission.Seven or seventy and everyone in between is going to love this show. The action doesn't stop and the actor's acrobatics are awesome. And they are outdone by the sea lions.A quick look around and every child is mouth agape and enthralled throughout the show. The adults aren't far behind. Some reviews go negative on the cost or the length. The show lasts over 90 minutes and is exhausting for the entertainers. It's not rushed or short rather it is just about as long as you could make it and keep young children sitting still. As far as the cost there is one show per day with a very large cast of talented acrobats along with numerous pyrotechnics and upkeep of the animals and facilities. While not every family will be able to afford it, it is a very good deal for the price.Kid friendliness: While the show is great for all ages, they really focus on kids, even getting some of them involved in the show itself.
