Family owned, good food and great people. We've been going to the Omega for over 30 years and have never been disappointed. It's our go to breakfast spot when we're down in Myrtle Beach or Surfside. The Omega has your standard southern breakfast foods: pancakes, waffles, French toast, grits, eggs, sausage, country ham ect. They also have great gyros! breakfast is excellent! (can not mix with kings hwy). omg! only the PLAIN pancakes had to die! I still dream of them! wendy, our server was very sweet and hospitable although we were fans (they know who we were, I am a real tx though). the grotten were excellent, even placed on the plate, it is laid laboriously in a bowl on the side. the food proportions were incredible and always filled. we went back to our last day... First impression was the seat of the booth was in shreds. Service was ok and menu seemed diverse yet a bit expensive. It was lunch time so I ordered the mixed salad with a few strawberries, pecans and shrimp (there were just 5 LITTLE shrimp) and lots of pecans. Looked good until I noticed a bug crawling across the salad! The waitress whisked it away and had it replaced although they didn't have any more mixed greens so I was stuck with iceburg. The flow of the entire meal was ruined and my husband finished long before I began eating. Was never offered a discount or to be comped. Definitely will not return!!

Amazing quality, quantity and service. The salads are super fresh and they have the fluffiest pancakes I've ever had. The lemon blueberry pancakes are amazing. They have fresh squeezed orange juice and the coffee is out of this world. I most Definitely recommend to locals and visitors looking for a hearty meal, You won't be disappointed.
