Feedback
We have visited this restaurant as a family several times. The food has always been consistently good, but it is on the pricier side. For example, two appetizers and an ice cream sundae cost us $50. Unfortunately, the staff seemed a bit inattentive and unengaging from the moment we walked in. The ice cream sundae, meant for a small family, consisted of a small scoop of ice cream and a small dollop of whipped cream. We also did not receive the appetizers we ordered, and by the time we realized they weren't coming, we decided to order something else as the portion sizes seemed to have decreased significantly. Our drinks and water were brought to us only moments before we left the table. Perhaps it was just an off day for the staff, but this was a minor issue on an otherwise pleasant day. We may consider trying another restaurant in the future.
Despite their name, the staff were not friendly. I understand the 18% gratuity for large groups, but if the hostess knows that a group wants to sit together and deliberately seats them far away from each other, and then acts unfriendly, the rest of the visit is unacceptable to me. I will not be returning to this place. The food was average, nothing extraordinary. The only highlight was the dessert, for which they are known. The children really enjoyed it! The dessert alone is the reason for the two-star rating.
