Calda's Coal Fire Pizza - Myrtle Beach

Unfortunately, it appears that this restaurant has closed. The pizza was fantastic, but it's a shame. Thankfully, they will be opening a new location in February at a different place.

The owner of this restaurant is a prime example of arrogance. Tony recalls the guy from high school who thought he was the best, but eventually matured into one.

The service was satisfactory, but the pizza had a lot of grease on it that we had to use napkins to soak up.

Anthony and Angela have the best pizza in the Grand Strand and surrounding areas! Their oven is coal fired and their dough is top notch. The final product is delicious food that tastes like someone cares more about quality than quantity. Their service is incredible and leave me feel taken care of. I’m a New Haven-style pizza snob and their pies fit in with Pepe’s, Sally’s, Modern or any other of Connecticut’s best. Try them and you won’t be disappointed!

I grew up in NY and have lived in the MB area for over ten years... Caldas has the best pizza and the best wings in town. The dough is thin, super crispy, and tastes awesome! And order the coal fired wings with caramelized onions, that's the best way to get them. I actually put the onions from my wings onto the pizza, it's amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough, so good! And Angela is super friendly and fun to talk with at the bar!
