The food is extremely bad, warm-up meals from the freezer. In retrospect I should never have eaten here, you can eat well a little further away. It is better not to eat at a tourist attraction, it is very bad. Olives are unworthy of Greek, the olives are better in the Netherlands. Sandwich without any significant toppings. It's closed now. You are chased aggressively from the yard.
Very not tasty and dry meat in a not tasty marinade, I don’t recommend it
Visited Crete from 08/24/21-09/07/21. We rented a car for 12 days, so we spent a lot of time on various trips and visiting interesting places. 09/02/21 our route lay from Rethymno, where we lived, through the Church of St. Irene 5 km and 15 minutes drive from the hotel to the caves of Melidoni 35 km and 50 minutes from the church and Sfedoni 21 km and 45 minutes from Melidoni . In total, the route took 118 km. There is a huge free parking lot near the cave. In the middle of the parking lot there is a piece of rock, it is very beautiful. And at the entrance there is a small cafe and toilet. We immediately didn’t like the fact that we had to wait more than one hour !!! for a group of just over 10 people to form! At the same time, they initially said that the wait would be 20 minutes! I think this was done deliberately so that visitors would buy their own food in the cafe! . Entrance ticket 5 euros per person, excursion only with a guide who speaks in English.
