Honestly, it’s the perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Innsbruck. Mutters is such a peaceful, cozy, and beautiful little town surrounded by nature. You can spend the whole day exploring Innsbruck and then come back here to relax, eat well, and enjoy the calm atmosphere. The tram ride to Innsbruck takes around 25 minutes and runs every 30 minutes, so it’s super easy to get around. The hotel itself is incredibly cozy. It has a pool, a lovely area to relax in the sun, a bar, and a restaurant we really enjoyed. On sunny days you can eat outside on the terrace with a beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious and everything felt so welcoming and comfortable. But the best part by far is the staff. Everyone is unbelievably kind, caring, and helpful. They explain everything — places to visit, recommendations, tram and bus schedules — and they provide maps and brochures too. They truly make you feel at home. You can also visit other beautiful villages higher up in the mountains by tram, with amazing views everywhere. Plus, if you stay more than 3 days, the tourist card included with the hotel gives you free access to several trams, buses, and the Muttereralm cable car. We also used it to visit Innsbruck and do the Top of Innsbruck. The whole atmosphere is just so relaxing after spending the day in the city. One of those places where you instantly feel peaceful and happy. P.S. A huge thank you to Anna, who took care of us every morning at breakfast and later in the afternoons too. She made us laugh so much and even prepared decorations and candles for my dad’s birthday.Thank you Anna for being so warm and lovely with us — we hope to come back very soon!

Furniture in the rooms might be little old but nothing that would bother me. Nice clean bathroom with walk in shower. Tasty breakfast. Restaurant has reasonable prices and their meals are huge. Sauna and pool are great but we were missing cold plunge tub to properly cool down our bodies. If you are interested in sledging, you can rent them free of charge. Staff kind and helpful.
