Muswellbrook Chinese Restaurant

We were pleased with quality of our takeaway meals. We rang our order through and it was ready when we were told to collect .

The crispy sweet and sour chicken was nice. The special fried rice is ok could do with a little more soy sauce as was a little bit bland but was all fresh otherwise. Recommend ringing in to book take out as it gets busy of an evening.

We were having a stopover in Muswellbrook and after a 9 hour drive wanted something quick, good and tasty to eat back at our Motel - Muswellbrook Chinese delivered on all 3 requirements!The place was packed with people waiting for takeaway at 6.30 on a Thursday night which we took for a good sign. Beef in Black Bean Sauce was packed full of wonderfully cooked quality tasting and looking beef and our sauce was spot on! Good special fried rice with plenty of shrimp, ham and shallots (sometimes you only get a few pieces in a portion - especially with the shrimp). We enjoyed our experience, hence the good review and would recommend to others because of it!

We had to stay overnight in Muswellbrook, found this restaurant, wine and dine, haha. My chicken was swimming in a thick gluggy over salted sauce, not a vegetable in sight. The special!! fried rice came with strips of some type of meat, some sad frozen shrimp, no flavour whatsoever. I couldn't eat my meal; to their credit the cook came out to see why I didn't like my meal, they didn't charge me. One of my fellow diners couldn't eat her meal either, all in all a very disappointing evening.

We often (maybe once a week) get our chinese from here and we havnt faulted it yet! So tasty and amazing customer service!
