It makes me sad to see them offering a Groupon because that never indicates a bright future, but if you haven't tried it, pick up the Groupon and check this place out! The location isn't ideal (far south and hidden), but the atmosphere, service and food are excellent. The steaks were cooked perfectly, and the portion sizes are generous. What Cathy B doesn't like about Michael V's:
Went here on 07/27/20. It was a Monday night so I thought it wouldn't be busy at all, which it wasn't. We were waiting for some people so we sat at the bar. Nobody offered us drinks while waiting, I had to ask Rick for a menu and he seemed kind of put out about it. Luckily Kayla brought my drink and was very polite. She asked if we needed anything else and answered my questions in a very professional manner. Steak wa... View all feedback.
I hear the chefs retiring! Congrats! The chef has surely made his imprint in the City of Tulsa...you and your stellar food will be missed!
My husband took me to this restaurant as a surprise. I have always wanted to have beef Wellington. A few years ago, we ate at another restaurant and it was all wrong and awful. The waiter actually told us, Next time, please go to Michael V 's . I don 't know why we waited so long but the food was absolutely amazing. The Beef Wellington was everything I imagined it would be. There were 6 of us and 5 had the Wellington. My daughters boyfriend had steak and his was great too. Now. Please leave room for dessert. You will never in your life have a better piece of coconut cream pie. The brownie was good too but we still speak of the pie and macaroons. We live in Northwest Arkansas and talk about making the 2 hour drive just for pie! The staff was simply amazing and friendly. I wish I lived in Tulsa.
My friend raves about this place. He had family in town and we wanted to get together and enjoy a great meal. After the last fiasco at a steakhouse on the 19th floor I couldn't decide where we should go. He suggested Michael V's. Wow I'm floored, this was one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. By FAR the best I've ever had in Tulsa. I never even knew this place existed. I'll be back again and again. Service was hands down impeccable and the food was to die for. You can't go wrong with Michael V's!

The location isn't ideal (far south and hidden), but the atmosphere, service and food are excellent. The steaks were cooked perfectly, and the portion sizes are generous. The cocktails were a little on the sweet side, but the bartender tweaked them to my liking based on my initial drink. Overall, the price is fitting for a quality steakhouse, so plan to spend, even with the Groupon.
