Liked food and great service. It is an interesting mixture of Asian fed foods. You will find your typical American Chinese dishes, but also some Korean and Japanese dishes as well. The price was slightly higher than I expected for lunch, but that could be true in most restaurants these days. I appreciate that this is a local restaurant and will definitely return as my budget allows. View all feedback.
What susan vela doesn't like about Yacky Shack:
Good food generally, sizzling rice soup has little flavor to broth at times. Not open on weekends : is the only downside. Enjoyable dining experience. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.

We occasionally go there. We can recommend the fried yackys. My son and my wife enjoy fried rice and bibimbap with tofu. I tried the Sesam Shrimp that was different. They removed all the sauces from the table except Sirachi. They brought some sauces to the table with our meal. You added an arcade. Total very good food
If I had to eat at one place for the rest of my life, Yacky Shack would be it. Worth the 1+ hour drive. Highly suggest the tofu bibimbap. Big bowl of delicious! Love that they offer vegan options and patio dining. But here's your warning: portions are generous it's difficult to stop. So, go there hungry!
The food is cooked perrty fast and comes hot and well made with attention given to detail. I love the chicken served here and the fusion of korean, Chinese and veggitarian options make yacky-shack unique. The selection is big enough to satisfy picky eaters, I think the quality is equal to or better in the chicken and appetizer department. Plus they have good smoothies and Bubble tea. My personal favorite is general tso's chicken it is better than any competitor Muscatine period!
We love this place. You have a nice selection of dishes, especially the Korean dishes that you do not have in the Quad City Metro area (at least in none of the places I know pls offer recommendations if you know other places in the QCs that have good Korean food). Anyway, Yacky Shack has reasonable prices, and the beef roll appetizer is wonderful (we tried almost all their appetizers and this is our Fave). It's a bit a ride from our house to Muscatine, but it's worth the trip.
