We have been planning... read more It is always a pleasant experience when you visit Woodlands. The ever friendly staff and the excellent choice of chettinad Indian dishes. We have been planning to visit their new place for quite some time and finally it happened today. As always the staff were welcoming and the place looked more or less similar to their earlier outlet. We went ahead with our standard dishes while experiencing this place after a long wait. Tender Coconut Shake, mango lassi, cocktail Vada, chicken biryani, tamarind rice, varutha Kozhi (chicken fry) and kulfi. The food was fresh, tasty and had an excellent chettinad taste. We savoured the taste, experienced the warmth of the staff and left fulfilled with the overall experience.

I love the aapam with coconut milk and also the kulfi. The prawns were also delicious. There are few large rooms to accommodate big families with more privacy., but you have to book it in advance. Slightly on expensive side but totally worth it.

Came with my young family and they loved it, after I used to come when I was a child it was a trip down memory lane. Standards are maintained and I have to say exceeded expectations….the Puri are to die for, we literally took a bag home they were so good! Watch out, now in new location in Qaboos (near old kharjeens) not Ruwi.
