Despite the hectic pre-Christmas period, we were able to enjoy our visit in the second week of December. family stubble and their competent team were responsible for this, and we were fully pampered. starting with the convincing aperitif, a combination of gin View all feedback.
An excellent culinary, very varied kitchen! a lot from their own garden, which they manage owners themselves! gratitude par excellence!
Who doesn't know this from his own experience - you book a table in a restaurant at one of those neuralgic days in the year and best screw his expectations down. we were so surprised by the schlosstaverne in zeltweg, which we visited at the end of the year. ok, there was only one menu on this evening, which had been communicated in advance; so the feeding composition was naturally adapted to a average taste (please not understand negatiw). but the creative art of preparation and the tastefully perfect tuning have impressed us very much. more we have stayed the very friendly and intrusive service in best memory! the local is not around the corner for us, but we will be happy to come back with the next opportunity
Restaurant to recommend without a doubt. We let ourselves be advised by the person who treated us and that we assume must be the owner. the unbeatable service and so explanations and efforts were to make us feel good and give us your product that you feel proud of. the quality of food was of first quality and excellent presentation. many dishes accompany them with herbs or flowers of their own garden that enhance so dishes in color and flavor. They have a styria meat, the area, which is spectacular and that they themselves mature, you can see it in the refrigerator as you enter the restaurant and I explain very well how it ensures that the meat is from the area. to thank you also that we did not rush to finish the envelope. The kitchen had already closed and we still had a good time without any pressure. It's not cheap, but we also let ourselves wear off without putting any limit, maybe that's why the account was not cheap but we didn't expect it and everything we live deserves it.
I have been there more often mostly business diners and every time food was excellent and outstanding service. It's a family business serving slow food and just using local ingredients, some even grown in their own garden. Everything is absolutely fresh cookedand they offer food going with the seasons. The waitress is a certified sommelier she knows everything about the wine they offer and has the best recommendations explained in a very charming way. Also the bar in a seperate room offers local drinks, gems seldom offered in other restaurants.Atmosphere is special you dine in an old castle very nicely renovated. The garden restaurant is perfect for warm summer nights.
In a great ambiente you can enjoy eating in the highest quality. the restaurant has not been awarded for free for many years uninterrupted with two hoods. I chose the zirbenland menu. you can choose from two dressings for starter and dessert. my choice fell on carpaccio, steak and locknockerl. from the first to the last bite I was more than enthusiastic. I'll be back!
