We enjoy creating our own burgers at this restaurant. My wife always selects a delicious milkshake (as pictured) and I like to try out different draft beers. Whenever we're in Pittsburgh, this is our go-to spot for a meal. View all feedback.
What Adela Dietrich doesn't like about Burgatory:
The food and service are good but wait time to get your meal can be long. For the last 6 months one of the items ordered was a fried egg on toast, charged as a kids meal. On the last visit our server was told to charge a higher a-la-cart (twice the) price by the manager on duty. She didn’t agree but had to do what she was told. I don’t blame the server. Burgatory just lost a regular, long time customer. View all feedback.
In the early evening while passing through Pittsburgh, we decided to stop at a local restaurant for dinner. We had heard good things about Burgatory, so we chose to dine there directly from I-76. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, with tables filled with families, couples, and groups of friends. The service was very fast, with the waiter promptly bringing menus to our table. When we placed our drink order, we also ordered food (two standard deluxe burgers cooked medium with a side of coleslaw) as we were short on time. However, 20 minutes later, we had to inquire about our order. It would have been appreciated if the waiter had asked about our time constraints to manage our expectations. It was noted that there were several cooks in the kitchen and three employees on the floor. We ended up eating our burgers in the car and on our cruise. The burgers were good, but not exceptional. We are unsure if we will dine at Burgatory again.

This was our first visit to this establishment. We were there to celebrate our son's high school graduation. The food was delicious and cooked exactly how we ordered it. The hostess greeted us warmly and seated us promptly. The waitress was friendly and attentive, answering all of our questions about the menu items.

Haven't been to the Burgatory in a while, specifically this location. Staff was very friendly and service was great. The truffle gorgonzola fries are fantastic! I had the Piggy Butter Jelly burger. It was delicious and mouth-watering. Look forward to coming back.
