Overall a good experience. The appetizers are delicious and the servers are all friendly. I didn't care about my main entree, which unfortunately was $30, because the fish lacked taste bit everything else was great. Would go back alone for the appetizers. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Claw House:
Portions are small unless you get the nachos. Great ambient in or out. We sat outside but can hear competing music with the restaurant next door. Fish and chips has too much batter. The surf and turf was ok and pricey. Sauces were excellent. A bit on an upscale dining. If you want live music, go somewhere else. They don't validate parking! View all feedback.
Great place for you to enjoy and satisfy your seafood cravings. My family and I were enjoying the Myrtle Beach area for vacation. Wanted to get some fried clams. was going to go to Sara J but was not open till 4pm. With teenagers and a 6 year old you want to find somewhere comfortable. We did at the Claw House. It SATIFIED our want for Fried Clams and the service was great. Family friendly and able to accommodate large groups. We had the Fried Clams starter x 2 for everyone. Some had the Shrimp Platter. My daughter in law has a peanut allergy. They do not cook any products with it. She had the Haddock sandwich she said was delicious. Hubby had the Lobster Roll Sandwich. I had the Fried Clams (best Value for your money) and the Strawberry Fields Salad with fresh Strawberries, Gorgonzola Cheese and Pecans topped with Poppyseed Dressing. Part of mine had to take with because of the amount of food. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the Myrtle Beach Area.
Prize Win Chef here, Seriously, The Broiled Fisherman?s Platter is one of the only best, most overflowing, Incredibly delicious, Greatest Value for the food everywhere In Murrell?s admission, much less All South Carolina that I have found, Period, Forget the other places around, Go! The Baked Clams Casino Dip is incredible, the Crab Nachos will feed a Hungry Army, The girl at the door, I know your name started with a?C? that I could not spell, was fabulous friendly and Oh My Goodness You? ll be doing Yourself a Favor TO, if you ask for DARLENE? ll put you in your section and say your pennant! This was the largest bunch of seafood for the smallest tab I? v and the largest server ALL ANDER ONE ROOF! The other places on the inlet are all so-so tourist case places, The Claw House has the taste, the best people, the best, the most delicious food, and the smallest price tag I found, and I am not a bargain shopper and want quality, you? Find this! Go!
Great place to relax and enjoy a sunny day. Our waiter Sean looked after us. He was in the table seconds after sitting and my waterglass was never empty. My wife had crabcakes with onion rings. The crab cakes WERE very good and many crabs. Onion rings came out quite cold. The fish and chips were very good. Would definitely recommend.
Crab Nachos were great, like my grilled seafood with Mac and cheese. The back terrace was pretty at sunset and the atmosphere was really nice, especially when the live music was done right behind us as it was loud. A bit expensive, but a beautiful evening for our whole family group
This place never disappoints! Look at those crab nachos ? Selections from the Happy Hour menu are usually what we choose for dinner. The shrimp and oysters?.keep ?em coming. Tonight our table also ordered the lobster roll and burger with beer cheese. Just yummmmm.
