Contribute Feedback What Mary Brown doesn't like about Prosser's -b-que:
I was a Prosser 's regular and hated to see them go but was so hopeful that the new owners would keep great food and carry on. The service is still fantastic and enjoyed seeing the renovations. However, the food was just a meh for me, but I will give them another try to see if it improves, since they are probably still working out the new site jitters. Will update when I do. It is not inlet BBQ anymore.New owners and new name I guess. It almost had everything Prossers had. The chow was really good and will be back.
The people are very nice. The food not so nice. Pork barbecue was bad. The chicken much better (good). Veggies were just so-so. Mashed sweet potatoes were yummy. Peach cobbler was very good. The pork barbecue was the worst I've had anywhere. Mostly because of the pork in the barbecue. Terrible. We can easily find better. We ate there on Saturday, maybe it was a bad day, or not.
One of the worst buffets I have ever been to. Food temperature was between warm and cold. Most of the meats including ribs, chicken and pork chops were dry and tough. The barbecue ribs were drenched in barbecue sauce to try to hide the dryness. The fried shrimp was very tough and overcooked. salad bar was good. The fried oysters had just come out and we’re very good. Dessert that included banana pudding and pineapple upside down cake with ice cream was standard for a Buffet. Unless they improve I do not recommend. I am a local to Murrells Inlet.
