The customer service here is amazing! We were so happy with our first visit that we went back three days later and bought lots of seafood to take home. The lump crab was clean and delicious, not a shell to be found in it. Definitely pick up some Zesty Crab Dip and Ritz!! The shrimp tasted like they just came off the boat, and they probably did! Can't wait to try the Blue Crab soup, and my buddy is looking forward to... View all feedback.

I saw it received good reviews so we tried it over the many other seafood markets in the area. We asked if they could steam it for us and they looked at us like we were crazy. They did, but I wish I would have cooked them myself. Totally overcook and mushy!! The seasoning they used was dumped on top of the overcooked shrimp and was just slightly spicy salt. Fresh??? I always find exactly what I need at this place. Today, I picked up 2 pounds of crabmeat and 3 pounds of colossal shrimp! It was fantastic!
Recently, my 91-year-old mom was in hospice and losing her appetite, so I thought some of Rick's soup might cheer her up. It turns out I made the perfect choice! Mom absolutely loved the lobster asparagus truffle bisque and devoured an entire quart in just one day! I will always cherish the joy that Rick's soup brought to my mom during such a difficult time, especially when she struggled to enjoy food. A heartfelt thank you to Rick and the entire staff at Murrells Inlet Seafood!
We purchased 8 lobsters for a total of $215.00. When I inquired about the lobsters, I was informed that they had some available, but they had been there for a couple of days and, while still alive, they weren't very active. I asked multiple times if they were sure the lobsters were still good, and each time I was reassured that they would taste just fine. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. We couldn't even finish a single lobster before we all agreed that we had been misled and should have gone elsewhere. The lobsters were awful, and we ultimately had to throw them away. To say I was unhappy about spending that much money only to discard them is an understatement. I'll never return! In hindsight, I should have walked out as soon as I entered the place because it smelled terrible.

They did, but I wish I would have cooked them myself. Totally overcook and mushy!! The seasoning they used was dumped on top of the overcooked shrimp and was just slightly spicy salt. Fresh??? We’re from St. Louis and can find seafood that is much fresher! The other seafood seafood markets were more crowded and I believe there’s a reason.
Amazing shop! We picked up some shrimp to grill while camping, and it tasted like it was swimming today ! The folks here are wonderful and will exceed your customer service expectations. It was so great that we went back and purchased lots of things to bring home. One was the lump crab, I have always checked my lump crab for shells before cooking and this was the cleanest, tastiest crab I have ever eaten! Definitely make crab cakes and top with their Zesty Crab Dip...if there is any left after you have it on Ritz as an appetizer! Can 't wait to try the Blue Crab soup. This place is fantastic!
