Tap 216 - Murray
Tap 216
Description
Nestled near a college campus, this restaurant offers a mixed bag of dining experiences. While some patrons rave about fantastic service and standout dishes like the Mediterranean pizza and creamy Alfredo, others lament the inconsistency and overstated prices for basic bar food. Appetizers can leave diners wanting more, and service quality varies significantly, with some staff being exceptionally attentive while others struggle. Despite criticisms about portion sizes and ingredient quality, the inviting atmosphere and fun trivia nights attract a diverse crowd. Overall, this establishment presents an opportunity to indulge, though diners should be cautious of what they choose.

Food was good. Service was excellent. BUT they are over priced if this is what they think a burger should look like. 1 piece of bacon, 1 sliver of avocado and a slider size hamburger. I told the waiter, he offered to have them redo it. I am not sittingthere waiting for a whole new burger while my husband eats. Appetizers are the same way. Not even a full tray/plate of cheesebites but they want almost 10 bucks. There is maybe 12 on there?
The Alfredo sauce here is absolutely the best. I dined in for dinner, spending around $10–20 per person. The food deserves a 5-star rating, the service a solid 4, and the atmosphere a 3. I highly recommend trying the Spinach Artichoke Dip and the Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Shrimp. For vegetarians, the options are somewhat recommended.
I really love this restaurant and always make it a point to visit whenever I'm back home. However, my most recent experience was a little disappointing. The food has consistently been excellent, from the fries to the burgers to the wings. Yesterday, I ordered my usual 16 wings, extra crispy and hot tap style (fried then grilled). Anyone who knows me knows how much I enjoy good wings. Unfortunately, this time, they fell short. The wings weren't crispy and had a rubbery texture. I requested that they be cooked a bit longer, but they didn't improve much. I mentioned this to the waitress, who then brought the cook out. I explained that they tasted like par-baked wings, but I declined the offer to try another batch and opted to eat the fries and half of my wife's burger instead. I even shared some tips with the cook on how to achieve that perfect crispiness. As we were finishing up, they brought out a fresh batch of wings for me to take home, but they were unfortunately the same as before, so I left them on the table. Despite this setback, I want to stress that the rest of the food here is genuinely great. The burgers, while a bit small, are fantastic, and the fresh-cut fries are outstanding. The wings do need some work, though. If they can improve them, I would definitely return and update my review. This was the first time in six visits that the food didn't meet expectations. I wish there was a way to contact the restaurant through their website to address issues like this before leaving a review. I'm still planning to come back for football after hunting, so I'm hopeful that the wings will be better next time.
The food at this restaurant was outstanding, particularly my steak. The staff was friendly, although it was hard to hear them taking orders because of the loud noise. I would definitely recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience. While I haven't attended a party there, I've heard it's fantastic.
